These guys repaired my shirt and did an excellent job for an excellent price. A very professional service, you really can’t tell that the tear in question was ever there. Five stars.
I can always count on them to make me look sharp at work, with my white dress shirts expertly cleaned and pressed. Simply the best, attentive to details, always ready when promised and skilled repairs to expensive clothing that always looks like new. Moved away and tried several others, all were a disappointment. Now driving from Erith and won’t consider any others, worth the drive.

While the owner was very professional and accommodating, I’m quite disappointed with the alteration done by their tailors to my jacket. Based on the stitching, it looks very rushed. I gave them all the time they need which is one week to ensure that the jacket will be altered correctly. But when i got it there were some seam puckering, skipped stitches, old stitches not removed, and forgetting to close a part of the liner (attached photo). Overall, the stitching/sewing are not very clean, especially on the sides and shoulders. It’s my second alteration with them, and this might be the time to look for other tailors in London, especially for expensive clothes such as this Private White VC jacket. What i think tailors should give recommendations on fit based on his/her experience and meticulous in checking the quality of sewing. I may be expecting too much for a local tailor, but based on their website they have decades of experience, so i believe the sewing job should at least be clean. I’m very disappointed. They have a potential to be a good go-to alteration shop. But only maybe for easy (not complicated) alterations such as shortening of trousers. —————— UPDATE 01/11/21 After posting my initial review, the owner replied and asked me to bring it back for them to rectify and I am now very pleased with the quality of alteration made to my jacket. The stitches are far from what it was initially. No more seam puckering and missed stitches. Professionally done. This means that this shop has the skills to do complex alterations. And also for the difficulty of alterations done to my jacket (take in shoulders, take in waist, take in sleeves) the cost was very reasonable. Furthermore, Hal and Hattie were very professional in dealing with the issue. They called to ensure I am happy with how it was re-done. ???????? I intend to use their service again for future alteration needs. Thanks! (i’ve added 3 new photos that are with ‘check’ marks to indicate the re-done output)
